Paul began his trading journey in 2008, the same year the financial crisis exposed just how little most people understood about markets. Fascinated by how prices moved and why, he started learning everything he could about market structure, price action, and the mechanics behind the moves. At the same time, he was building a property portfolio, believing that was the route to financial independence.

For nearly a decade, Paul ran property investments alongside his growing interest in trading. But the more he built, the more he noticed a fundamental problem: property still left other people in control. Mortgages, tenants, estate agents, buyers, market conditions. Every step of the way, someone else held a piece of his financial future. Trading was different. The market did not care who you were. It rewarded preparation, structure, and discipline. Nothing else.
